Persian Bicolour

Origin
The Bicolour Persian is a variant of the Persian with a bicolour or tricolour coat. Long undervalued by judges, it established itself from the 1980s as one of the most popular Persian variants. The standard distinguishes classic bicolour (colour and white) and Van (white with just a few colour patches).

Character
Identical to the standard Persian: calm, gentle and affectionate.

Care
Identical to the Persian: daily brushing required, regular cleaning of face and eyes.

Body: cobby, massive and muscular.
Head: round and broad, very flat face, short nose.
Eyes: large, round. Vivid orange or blue (in Vans). Odd-eyes accepted.
Ears: small, rounded, well spaced.
Tail: short, thick and full.
Coat: long, dense and shiny.
Colour: white with a solid or tabby colour. White distribution according to bicolour or Van categories.
